Bokeh-effect Beauty Abounds card with Blueberry Bushel

A hand-stamped, Bokeh-inspired friendship card made using the Beauty Abounds stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Learn more about the Bokeh Effect
Do you know what Bokeh is? If you're a crafter or regular follower of this blog you have probably heard of it.

Bokeh circles in shades of pink, orange and red

Bokeh, from the Japanese 'Boke', is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced by out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light".

Have a look at the Bokeh-inspired stamp from Beauty Abounds in this video:

I decided to team Blueberry Bushel with Pineapple Punch and Shaded Spruce , three very bright colours. I was really happy with how my project turned out! I can't wait to pop this in the post to a friend.
