The Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Regular visitors to this blog will know that my all-time favourite Stampin' Up! item is the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Even though this has been around for a little while now, I never get bored of playing with it!

10 WOODLAND EMBOSSING FOLDER PROJECTS

It features beautiful Silver Birch trees, and is perfect for natural or wood-themed projects, and is perfect for Christmas cards and scrapbook layouts.

You can do an awful lot with it. You can either use it to emboss a background piece, or go one further and ink the raised section up, as I have done so today.

Today's project
This is a quick and easy card, which is a lot of fun to make. I chose three colours which I thought would go well together:

Melon Mambo
Shaded Spruce
Blueberry Bushel

I embossed the Whisper White Cardstock with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and then brayered over the top with the Melon Mambo ink.
The full list of products you need to make this card is at the bottom of this article.

Of course you could recreate this card in any combination of colours. As it's such an easy card simply follow the picture of the card as instruction on how to make it.

A nice easy card for today. Sometimes simple is the best!

Back soon with another project,

Create a beautiful Mermaid card using Watercolour Paper and Aqua Painters
I haven't been able to stop playing with the Magical Mermaid Stamp Set. It certainly is magical - and there are so many creative things you can do with it. You can do all sorts of wonderful things with her tail, her hair, and her positioning.

Of course the perfect accompaniments to this set are our Watercolour Paper and Aqua Painters, which I have used to colour the background in Bermuda Bay ink.

Thanks goes to Carolyn Bennie, one of our Australian Demonstrators, for this project. It was so beautiful I just HAD to make it. I don't think my watercolouring is as perfect as hers, but then the beauty of watercolouring is that you never get the same effect twice!

Click on any of the items below to view them in the Stampin' Up! Store. To create this project you will need:

Next time I am going to create the same card but completely change the colours and see how different it looks. Thank you so much for the inspiration Carolyn!

If you angle the Mermaid with her head down she looks like she is diving - perhaps she is looking for oysters in the seaweed... There are so many different ideas you can use this set for.

I would love to see your creations if you have used this set! Please email pictures to the email address at the top of this page.

Thank you for stopping today,
