Woodland Embossing Folder: Pop-Art Forest Card Tutorial

Follow the easy to follow directions and make a Pop-Art card using the Woodland Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up!

Yes! It's another Woodland Embossing Folder project...
Sorry I can't help it. I love the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so much that I keep creating projects with it. This idea I've had in my head for a while. I love the contrast of the black, pink, white and yellow. Not a typical colouring for a forest but really bright and funky!

Step-by-step instructions
I love all of the tree-themed products that Stampin' Up! make, I guess nature is where I find my inspiration.

Silver Birch (Betula pendula) trees are one of my favourite trees, and are common in Finland, a place that I hold dear. There are huge forests of them:

1. Put your Daffodil Delight Cardstock into the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot Machine.

2. Using a Brayer, lightly roll over the raised segment of your cardstock using a Classic Stampin' Pad. For this design I used Basic Black but any contrasting colour works fine. Set aside to dry.

3. On a piece of Whisper White Cardstock stamp your trees in  Melon Mambo. I used the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set which is available in Clear Mount or Wood Mount.

4. Stamp your sentiment using the Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set, fussy-cut out using our Paper Snips, and put aside.

5. Using our Paper Snips cut out the Birch Trees.

6. Assemble your card using Snail adhesive, and our fabulous Stampin' Dimensionals to raise the sentiment up.

Use the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up! to create this gorgeous pink and yellow forest card.

You can have a go with any colour really - whatever takes your fancy.

Due to receiving lots of questions about this card I have filmed this short video to show you how to create this look:
