Aqua Painters, Ink Refills & Wetlands Stamp Set

Good morning!
I love today's project, it was so much fun to do. You get a different result every time you watercolour with a Stampin' Up! Aqua Painter and that's the beauty of it.

I dropped some droplets of ink from one of our Ink Refills (£3.00 each, and available in every Stampin' Up! colour) into the lid of one of our Classic Stampin' Pads of the same colour, however you could use some acetate (like one of our cellophane treat bags) to put a few drops on.

You pick up the colour with the end of the brush and you can squeeze the water from the Aqua Painter as and when you need it. I went over the Watercolour Paper (also available from Stampin' Up!) with a light wash of water first. You don't want to get your project too wet; you can always add more water if needed.

Isn't this gorgeous? I only used two colours here - Pacific Point and Sahara Sand; as you can see the two colours have blended in the middle.

Once my background was dry I stamped over the top using the Wetlands stamp set, which is available in Wood-mount and Clear-mount. So easy. Great for water scenes and sunsets.

You can buy all the supplies you need to make this card using the SHOP NOW button at the top of the page.
