Welcome, Neighbour

This is the card I gave to my new neighbours to welcome them to our street. It was a bit of an experiment to be honest!! I hadn't intended the ink to run outside the template I'd made using the Bitty Banners dies and my Big Shot; however I think this was probably a good thing as the arrows would have been too little and not taken up enough space on the card.

I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Marina Mist and Pistachio Pudding colours; I just used an old sponge -no special art supply, just a regular dish-washing sponge- to apply the colour.

I then used Basic Black ink and the ink spots stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set (one of my faves) to add the splashes:

The "welcome" sentiment is from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set which can be found in the Annual Catalogue:

These sentiments are just perfect for card making and scrap-booking alike.

You are able to browse or buy on Stampin' UP!'s official web-shop; just click the "Shop Now" button above at the top of the page.

Stay crafty,
