Simple Stems

Good morning all!

Stampin' Up! Simple Stems

This is a card I made for my lovely mum to say "Good Luck" for her new job which she started yesterday. I used the Stampin' Up! stamp sets Simple Stems (from the Spring-Summer catalogue) to make the gorgeous flowers; and the Woodgrain stamp for the background.

I simply cut out the flowers using a pair of scissors and layered the pink flower - elevating the different layers using Stampin' Dimensionals sticky foam pads. I used Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral and Pirouette Pink, plus some gold embossing powder. The ribbon is our Natural Chevron Ribbon which is found in the Spring-Summer catalogue.

The sentiment "You can do it" is from the Express Yourself stamp set which is a current Hostess set (available for FREE when you spend £150 or more). I used the Labels framelits and the Bitty Banners framelits with my big shot for the die-cutting elements of this card.

I used some gold sequins from our lovely Gold Sequin Trim, which I stuck on with our Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and added some small self-adhesive pearls on top! The base card is Crumb Cake, a favourite of mine for my projects.

I'm really pleased with it and thankfully Mum loved it. I hope the first day in your new job went well Mum!

All of the items needed to make this card are available from Stampin' Up! you can choose to shop online - click the "Shop Now" button at the top of this site to browse or buy from the official Stampin' Up! webshop.

Back tomorrow with more projects!
