Preserving memories

Good morning all,
Last night I had the pleasure of attending (and speaking at) a card-making workshop set up by Jill of Christmas Pie Crafts  - a massive "thank you" to Jill for inviting me along as a guest speaker.

Last night we covered just card-making but as you all know I have been doing a bit more scrap-booking recently. It's a fabulous way to preserve those special memories; especially when your pictures are accompanied by some text to remind you of those precious moments:

This is my girl when she was really little at Finkley Down Farm - she loved the tractors - they were her favourite thing of the whole day.

I love this scrapbook page because it doesn't have a hint of pink on it! (my daughter is very girly) and I love the fact that the flowers and plants framing the picture have actually been wooden-stamped.

The paper is from the ever-so-delightful "Tea for Two" paper by Stampin' Up! which features some gorgeous vintage-inspired papers. I've actually cut the paper down to fit my 8x8" book, but actually comes as 12x12" paper.

If you would like to find out more about Stampin' Up! products then just drop me a line, I'd be pleased to help!

  1. A BIG thank you Lauren - you were great and I love your work. Everyone really enjoyed your presentation and I look forward to working with you again soon.

  2. Thank you Jill, I can't wait!! I had an absolute blast and it was so lovely seeing all those new to card making get stuck in and enjoy themselves; that's what it's all about!!

Thanks so much for leaving comments!
