Jar of Gratitude

One of the things I promised myself I would do this year is make a "Happiness Jar".

This is a jar that you fill with little notes of things that made you happy and grateful throughout the year, to be opened and read on New Year's Eve.

I decorated an old jam jar with some Comfort Cafe paper, cardstock and a dash of Midnight Muse ribbon. The stamp is a sneak peek from a set that will appear in the Spring-Summer Mini catalogue:

I'm really looking forward to opening them all, in just under a year's time, and seeing what a fabulous year I had.

  1. Hi
I came to be pon your blog via ebay.Guess I was meant to be here cause I think this is a fab idea. i'm going to get all my W. I. ladies to make one and suggest that whenever they feel low to read the ppers or if they never do to open New Years Eve as you suggest. Thnaks for sharing.

  2. Thank you so much for looking (and posting!).

Happiness Jars seem to be popular now - I first spotted one a few years back and intended to make one (this is the first year I actually remembered!) ~ however I've seen lots of them around online this year.

Let me know how you get on and what your ladies think of the idea!

If there is anything I can help you with Stampin' Up! wise then please let me know, I'm aware the WI tends to be a crafty bunch! :)

    Enjoy your Happiness Jar making!
    Best wishes,

Thanks so much for leaving comments!
