The theme was quick, basic cards that require little or no stamping, and using as few bits of card as possible. We managed to make 8 cards from 4 sheets of A4 cardstock- we had 3 different shapes of card and the scraps went towards punched shapes or embellishments, so not a jot was wasted!
There are two sheets of 16 toppers, making an incredible 32 in a pack, along with 10 other double-sided sheets of loveliness. At £9.95 this makes for a bargain pack of paper, perfect for all those seasonal cards and name tags:
We also made some mini notelet cards, Stampin' Up! have cute little envelopes that fit these:
Super-quick cards that look brill and take no time at all:
At the end of the class I gave the girls an envelope of cardstock and paper and they had a "freestyle" session to design two more, here are Jane and Wendy's cards:
Aren't they cute!?
If you are local to me and would like to come along to a class then please drop me a line to book your place. They are very informal and fun and cost £10 a head.
The next classes are being held on Monday 3rd and Thursday 6th December in my GU12 studio - please note these will not be seasonal cards this time around as we have done lots in class already.
