For my wonderful mother

Good morning all!!

I needed to make a card for someone's mum, so I set myself the challenge of using yellow, grey and white -

I used Basic Grey cardstock from Stampin' Up!, and then used the Labels Collection Framelits with the Big Shot to cut out the yellow and white paper (from the International Bazaar suite) to layer on top.

The sentiment is stamped in Basic Grey and is from the Delightful Dozen set which I actually received as part of two free stamps sets I chose for hitting certain targets in my first 3 months (Stampin' Start scheme- please ask me for more details). I added a Paper Daisy (£5.75 for 40) and a button from the Subtles range - and I used more Basic Grey cardstock to make the ribbon effect and also to punch out a grey flower (behind the button) using the Boho Blossoms punch. Extras were the Whisper White cardstock to stamp the sentiment on, and also the Linen Thread (£3.95) to tie the button and finish it all off.

I used the SNAIL adhesive (truly the best one out there on the market) and I also used some Sticky Strip (£5.50) to attach the flower well to the card - definitely an item worth investing in.

Please contact me for more details if you would like to order Stampin' Up! goodies, or if you would like a catalogue.
