Create a gorgeous hot air balloon card using the Up & Away Thinlits Dies and Aqua Painters by Stampin' Up!

A greetings card showing a die-cut black hot air balloon on a water-coloured rainbow background showing the sentiment 'smiles across the miles'

Simple brings a smile...
Sometimes the most simple projects are the most beautiful. I have created this card to send to my daughter who lives with her dad a long way from me. Despite only being 10 she is an avid drawer and is becoming a fantastic artist. She will absolutely love this card!

The black balloon, created using the Up & Away Thinlits Dies and the Big Shot, provides the perfect contrast to the rainbow background, which has been achieved using Ink RefillsWatercolor Paper and Aqua Painters

Stampin' Supplies for this project
You can find the whole list of supplies used in this project below:

You could use any die in front of the water-coloured background to the same effect but I think this balloon is perfect.

I can't wait to send this to her. She is going to LOVE it. Why not have a go and create your own balloon card?
