Spring is here with the Lots of Lavender stamp set
So despite the extremely cold weather these last couple of weeks there are signs that Spring is on its way! I spotted these lovely snowdrops while out with Mr Hippy last weekend...

Take a look at the glorious snowdrops of 2018

Snowdrops were named 'Galanthus' in 1753, and Galanthus means 'milk flower'. It makes total sense that they should appear around the start of February, as our ancient Celtic festival Imbolc falls on the second day of February (a festival I personally celebrate) and Imbolc means 'in milk'. Imbolc is the celebration of the first stirrings of spring, everything is pregnant and expectant and about to burst into bloom. Personally, I feel like Spring is the beginning of the year. It is such a beautiful time.

My project
Nature is a huge inspiration for me in my cardmaking, especially flowers, so of course I had to invest in the Lots of Lavender stamp set.

You don't have to colour your Lavender purple! As per usual I don't follow the rules. I used Calypso Coral and instead it looks like a bunch of Delphiniums, or Foxgloves, or some other type of long flower.

How to make this card

As well as the free stamp set, you will need some Whisper White Cardstock, some Old Olive Ribbon, some Island Indigo Cardstock and some other supplies which you can find below:
