Learn how to make a Sour Cream Container

Watch the tutorial and learn how to make a Sour Cream Container with patterned paper

Earlier on this week we looked at Pyramid Favours, and today we're looking at Sour Cream Containers. Sour Cream Containers are another very simple option for favours.

Have a go at making Sour Cream Containers What should I put in my containers?
Like the Pyramids they're perfect for sweets, hair accessories, small toys and so on. Basically anything that you can fit in them. These are great for weddings and kid's birthday parties, and the size of your strip of paper denotes how big they will turn out. You can view the tutorial below to see how to make them.

Follow the tutorial to make your Sour Cream Container
You can view a tutorial (by Beate Johns) HERE over at Splitcoast Stampers.
Please note that you don't have to use a Paper Crimper when making your containers, but it gives a professional finish to your containers and helps keep the ends bound together.

You could chose any patterned Designer Series Paper to make your Sour Cream Containers with, and then decorate with numbers, letters, circles, flowers, labels, words, animals - absolutely anything.. Or you could leave them plain. The possibilities are truly endless.

What I used to make my Sour Cream Containers
I used the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up! I also used the Number of Years stamp set and co-ordinating Large Numbers Framelits Dies which I ran through the Big Shot.

I fix my Sour Cream Containers with our Tear & Tape Adhesive (left) - this stuff is brilliant! It's easy to tear (I still cut mine) and it fixes your projects fast.

If you have any questions at all about this project please don't hesitate to drop me a line at the email address at the top of the page.
