Good morning all!
So I am still posting up Dragonfly Dreams projects - sorry - I just can't help it, it's such a fantastic set to work with.
Today's project features the gorgeous Bumble Bee instead of the Dragonfly, which has so far been everyone's focus.
I really love this bee! He is so beautiful and makes me think of long hot summers (which don't happen too much here in the UK). Nevertheless, he is an iconic British summer insect.
I created the background using one of our Clear Blocks which are normally used for attaching stamps to. I inked up the block (block D) using Refill Inks and a squirt of water, and then printed with the block itself. It turned out to be a great experiment - I was really happy with the outcome.
I fussy cut the bees and coloured them with Many Marvellous Markers; any shade of yellow would work well. The dotted line stamp and sentiment are both from Pun Intended, which is one of our Hostess stamp sets.
Enjoy these summery projects, back tomorrow with more,
