Beautiful Ride - Mint Macaron

Beautiful Ride Stampin' Up!

Good morning all,
Another 'Beautiful Ride' creation - I love this stamp set! I use it a lot and you can change the look of the project easily by using different papers in the background or by shading the VW Beetle a different colour (in this case Mint Macaron).

I could only save a small image of the stamp set, but here it is:

Beautiful Ride Stampin' Up!
As you can see it is full of gorgeous stamps that can be used in a variety of ways. I am keeping everything crossed that Stampin' Up! decide to keep this stamp set and put it in the next annual catalogue. I can dream! You can't see from the picture but the suitcases are actually slightly sparkly as I used some Clear "Wink of Stella".

This stamp set comes in Photopolymer and costs £15.00 - you can buy it here

Don't forget that it's still Sale-A-Bration, so you can choose a FREE gift for EVERY £45 you spend - get more information here
Remember that if you spend over £150 you get Stampin' Rewards to spend as well as your Sale-A-Bration freebies.

Sale-A-Bration really is the best time to buy Stampin' Up!

Wink of Stella

Lovely as a Tree, Stampin' Up!

Good afternoon everyone,
Again, another slightly blurry picture today. Unfortunately I have not been well recently and I am having a little trouble seeing - I thought these were clear shots but they look blurred to me - unless it is my blurry eyesight today that is the problem!

This card is very simple and what you can't see from the picture is that the tree is sparkly... I have used the fabulous Clear Wink of Stella.. this product almost looks like a mascara and has a little brush inside that you apply the sparkle with. You can get it in clear or gold.

The tree is from the gorgeous Stampin' Up! set "Lovely as a Tree".

As per always, all the items needed to make this card are listed at the bottom.

Butterflies Thinlits, Stampin' Up!

Butterflies Thinlits, Stampin' Up!

Good morning all!
It looks like Spring has sprung to me! I'm really enjoying the sunny (but crisp!) weather. All these lovely sunny days have turned my attention to Summer... and summer means - butterflies!

Today's project features a beautiful butterfly cut from the Butterflies Thinlits Dies. I run the die and some black cardstock through the Big Shot. I used some of the Go Wild Designer Series Paper to create a central strip, and some scraps of Pool Party cardstock to finish the look off. A little bit of Baker's Twine around the clothespeg finished my creation. Voila!

Stampin' Supplies for this card are listed below in the ticker. Don't forget that it's Sale-A-Bration still (until the end of the month) so you get to pick a FREE gift for EVERY £45 spent on Stampin' Up! products. Please contact me if you'd like to know more information.

Happy Heart Embossing Folder Stampin' Up!

Happy Heart, Stampin' Up!

Good morning,
Some more hearts today! I don't know why but I have a bit of a thing for them at the moment. Even though Valentine's Day has passed I'm finding myself making more 'love' cards than in the run up to it!

I love the sentiment "You're my greatest adventure" it's so sweet. This is a stamp from the Going Global set which is in the Spring Summer catalogue. You can find it in the ticker below, and although I have listed a wood-mount set you can purchase it in clear-mount, too.

The embossing folder is called Happy Heart and is perfect for any project. I really enjoyed making this!

Back tomorrow with another project,

Hip Hip Hooray - Sky Is The Limit

The Sky's The Limit, Stampin' Up!

Today's project features the beautiful Sale-A-Bration set "Sky Is The Limit" which is FREE when you spend £45. In fact you get a free gift for every £45 you spend and there are lots of gifts to choose from.

The sentiment on this card is from the stamp set "Endless Birthday Wishes" and has a myriad of sentiments and words you can stamp together to make phrases. Everything you need to make this card is on the ticker below.

I created this card by making a mask (made using a die) and sponging colour onto the base. I had already stamped the clouds first.

I'll be back tomorrow with another project, thank you for stopping by.

You Make Me Happy - Perfect Pennants

World Map, Stampin' Up!

Hi all!
This card is a bit of a mish-mash and uses so many products. But still, it is a gorgeous card and is perfect for all those male birthdays. Masculine cards can be so hard to make!

I have combined all my favourite Stampin' Up! elements and they're all listed in the ticker below - click on the pictures to check out the Stampin' Up! Official Online Shop, or click the SHOP tab at the top of this website.

I love the Greetings thinlits to create the 'Cheers' on this card and I have used the World Map to get the background. I love the trio of colour here - Night of Navy, Tempting Turquoise and Smoky Slate.

I'll be back tomorrow with another project for you. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Choose Happiness - Stampin' Up!

Choose Happiness, Stampin' Up!

Hello! Today's card is very similar to yesterday's, but this is not a CASE; it is one of my own creations. I love this Typeset Speciality Designer Series Paper, as I said yesterday you can use it on any project to give an air of sophistication.

I love the colours in this card, too. Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron - they go perfectly together. I have used the Triple Banner Punch to punch out the cardstock - everything about this card is just yummy.

Don't forget it's still Sale-A-Bration - that means a FREE gift for every £45 spent on Stampin' Up! products between now and 31st March 2016. Go to the OFFERS tab of this website for more information.

I'll be back tomorrow with another project. Stay Crafty!

Happy Birthday Everyone

Happy Birthday Everyone, Stampin' Up!

Hello everyone,
Today's project is a CASE from the Stampin' Up! catalogue (p.16). However I didn't have the stamp set featured ("One Big Meaning") and so I have used "Happy Birthday Everyone" - one of the current Annual Catalogue Hostess Sets - instead.

I really enjoyed making this project - the Typeset Speciality Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous and so timeless - you can use it on just about anything to make your project look sophisticated. Great for masculine cards.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Crafting From The Heart
Simply Papercraft Challenges
Creative Fingers Challenge Blog

I love the pearls and the In Colour Blossom Accents - the one I've used is Mint Macaron.

Everything you need for this project is listed in the ticker below. Happy Crafting!

Friendship is a Sheltering Tree

Sheltering Tree, Stampin' Up!

Good morning all!
A second post from me today.

The challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks, which is a Thursday Challenge Blog, is 'Friendship' and so I thought I'd have a go.

I've also entered this into the Creatalicious Challenges challenge where the theme is favourite colour combo, that for me is rainbow colours!

I created the mottled colour using the Baby Wipe Technique where you create your own stamp pad using re-inkers and a pad of baby wipes. It's a fun technique that can give you an amazing effect.

Stampin' Supplies are listed on the ticker below.

Stampin' Up! Cards for Keeps

Cards for Keeps, Stampin' Up!
Cards for Keeps, a charity of Stampin' Up! is back again for 2016, in the month of May.

In 2014 cards designed and signed by Tom Hiddleston, Arthur Darvill, Twiggy and Benedict Cumberbatch raised thousands of pounds for the UK's first childrens' charity Coram.

Coram supports vulnerable children through a number of services including adoption services and creative therapies, and in many other ways to ensure the most vulnerable children in the UK have the education and opportunities they need.

The cards are sold by eBay auction and this year many celebrities have started getting involved, including Karl Pilkington, Helen Craig, Twiggy, Felicity Kendal and The Singh Twins, plus many more.

More information will be coming in the coming months so check back regularly by checking out the Cards for Keeps website.

Cute Bear Hugs Couple

Bear Hugs, Stampin' Up!

Hello!

Today's project features my favourite stamp set of the "Occasions" Spring/Summer catalogue. Bear Hugs. It's featured heavily on this blog the last few weeks. There is just so much you can achieve with this set, there's something for everyone.

I decided to use the fish out of the stamp set today to create a lovely fishing scene. Aren't Mr Bear and Mrs Bear cute!?

I've added the Bear Hugs bundles to the ticker below because it's cheaper to buy the stamp set and dies together (15% off). However you can buy the stamp set on its own. Just click on an item on the ticker below to go to the Stampin' Up! shop then just search "Bear Hugs" - you'll be able to peruse and select the right stamp set for you.

Don't forget it's Sale-A-Bration still, which means you can claim a FREE gift for every £45 you spend on Stampin' Up! products. Have a look at the Sale-A-Bration page on this website for more details, or get in touch.

Six Sided Sampler

Six Sided Sampler, Stampin' Up!

Good morning all!
So this is another CASE project - this is a copy of the card on page 105 of the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you look at that project you will see that I've used the slightly bigger butterfly from the Butterfly Thinlits Dies.

This is such a gorgeous stamp set - Six Sided Sampler comprises of several hexagon stamps that fit the hexagon punch, and it has three lovely sentiments, too.

The Stampin' Up! Owl Punch is hugely popular! It has been a favourite for a few years now and is how many of my customers find their way to me. I have posted some old projects below but one of my New Year's resolutions is to make some new projects with this punch as I have not used it in so long...

Stampin' Up! Owl Punch

The Open Sea

The Open Sea, Stampin' Up!

Hello there!

Today's project is a CASE from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue - you can find it on page 84. I really love this card and the stamp set I used to make it. In fact, despite being scared of the sea I absolutely ADORE nautical and sea-themed stamps. Stampin' Up! have made some cracking nautical sets over the years.

I actually used some retired Washi Tape as I didn't have the correct one from the catalogue. But I have put the correct tape from the design in the catalogue onto the ticker below.

The wooden "thanks" sentiment is from the Expressions Natural Elements, I love these, they're so durable and add an extra dimension to your projects.
