Watercolouring with Aqua Painters

Today's project is one of the cards we made at class and is a CASE of the card on page 72 of the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

It features a watercoloured background - this was made using a piece of Watercolour Paper (£4.50) and an Aqua Painter (£15.50 for 2) which I dipped in some ink from our ink refills (£3.00)

You could either put a few drops of colour onto a piece of acetate (you could use one of our cellophane bags) or put a few drops inside the lid of one of our Classic Stampin' Pads (£6.00) which is my method.

Watercolour Paper, Papillon Potpourri, Baker's Twine, Stampin' Up!

You gently blend the colours together, squeezing water from the Aqua Painter where needed. Instead of stamping the butterflies with the stamps from Papillon Potpourri (as in the original project) I cut out some Subtles Designer Series Paper (£20.00 for 40 sheets) with our Elegant Butterfly Punch (£14.50).

The other items you can spot are Basic Black cardstock, White Craft Ink, Basic Black Baker's Twine and some Pearl Basic Jewels.

I think this is a lovely summery card for what has been a very summery week!

If you have any questions about Stampin' Up! products then please don't hesitate to give me a call, I'd be happy to help.

Don't forget there is an extra £25 Stampin' Rewards for orders £250+ which means at least £50 of goodies absolutely FREE to spend on whatever you want. Contact me for more details.
