As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I run a card-making class once a month. It's a lot of fun and my lovely class attendees come and learn a variety of techniques and tips.
I tend to have a theme (this month it was birthdays) and the projects are all ready and prepped - the idea of the evening is creativity, fun, making new friends and relaxation - and by prepping the projects the people who come along don't have to worry about being creative, they can just relax and assemble them.
You can read a blog post by one of my class attendees here
This is one of the lovely cards we made this month - I wanted to make a card that did not involve stamping on a white background - it is so easy to fall into that trap! This card was made using the Vintage Leaves stamp set with matching Leaflets Framelits dies - both are available using the SHOP NOW button at the top of the page. I used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder for the background.
If you'd like to come along to my next class then please don't hesitate to get in touch, I'm in Needham Market in Suffolk (just off the A14) and it only costs £10 per head for a wonderful evening out.
