Wetlands

Hello everyone!
It's been so busy in the Hippy household that I haven't (sadly) had much of a chance to keep with Stampin' Up! and get my craft supplies out. I can't wait until July when I'll have a bit more time on my hands to get creative again. But I'm still here! So please keep visiting, I'll continue to post as often as I can until such times I can post every day again.

A big thank you to everyone that has ordered in the last week.

Today's card is a CASE from The Creative Grove. I absolutely loved their card and they have many examples of what you can do with the Wetlands stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Here is my card and below is a close up version of the sea scape:

I used an Aqua Painter to create the sky and the sea and the sand. The thing I love most about this card is that it is a flat card (one layer card) - the depth is made purely from the colours I've used and does not feature any three dimensional pieces of card. Apart from waiting overnight for the ink to dry (before stamping) this was an otherwise very quick card to make.

The colours I've used are Island Indigo, Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, and Always Artichoke.

Stay crafty!
