Gorgeous Grunge
Good morning all,
Here is another one of the cards I've made for Little Hippy's school Christmas Fair (to raise money for the PTA). The lovely ink blots you see are from Gorgeous Grunge - I find I use this stamp set an awful lot!
The sentiment is actually from an old retired Hostess set but you could use absolutely any sentiment from any stamp set depending on who your card is going to, the mood, colours etc.
I'm sorry for my distinct lack of posting at the moment! Even when I have got cards to showcase I either am finding it hard to find the time to blog them, or it is so dark that I can't get good enough light to photograph them! I wish the summer would come back.

White Christmas
Hello everyone!
I'm starting to feel a bit better, so I have been doing a little bit of crafting - yay!
When I say little, I mean little - today's card is a tiny notelet measuring just under 3x3 inches. They fit into the cutesy Square Envelopes (107309) sold by Stampin' Up! You get 40 high-quality envelopes for £6.75
I used the "White Christmas" stamp set (135767) which is just beautiful; have a Google and see what AMAZING projects can be completed with this stamp set. It is one of Stampin' Up!'s photopolymer stamp sets and depsite my initial scepticism (I've always hated photopolymer!) I have to say they are really brilliant stamps. Well done Stampin' Up!
A bit later on I'm going to add a little bit of glitter to them to finish them off. I will post up a picture of the finished article.

Baby cards
Good morning everyone!
As I mentioned earlier in the week I have been beavering away making all sorts of cards to sell at the Christmas Fayre at Little Hippy's school to raise money for the PTA. This week (amongst others) I have been making baby congratulatory cards.
As I don't need these too often I don't have any stamps from the current Stampin' Up! catalogue but there is a beautiful range this year.
I think Zoo Babies has to be my favourite and will be one of the stamp sets I invest in next:
If you Google "Zoo Babies Stampin' Up!" you will be able to see some of the fabulous projects - including home decor projects and gifts - that have been made with this really cute set.
Here are my projects:
I think the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder goes really well with baby cards.
Back soon with more crafty ideas!

Four Feathers Bundle - Card Two
Here's the twin to yesterday's card; this is the masculine version but I'm wondering if it is slightly too twinkly for boys!?
I've used Smoky Slate card stock and a strip of Designer Series Paper from my retired scraps box (check out Stampin' Up!'s current paper using the 'Shop Online Now' link at the top of the page) - plus smoky slate ink and rhinestones.
I've used Silver Bakers Twine and shades of blue for the feathers.
What do you think?! Too sparkly for the men-folk amongst us??

Four Feathers Bundle
So my poor little blog has been neglected somewhat recently! But that's because I have been ferreting away creating goodies for Little Hippy's school Christmas PTA fayre.
I have been using some old Stampin' Up! stamps and accessories and with the lack of time have not got round to posting much - sorry!
Today's card IS using current Stampin' Up! goodies (all available from the Webshop link at the top of the page, or the buttons below) and is much more colourful and sparkly than the photograph gives credit for.
I used the Four Feathers Bundle (available in the new Autumn Winter catalogue), along with a jot of Flowerpot Designer Series Paper. The dies of course are used with the fabulous Big Shot machine, which is available from Stampin' Up!
The stars were created using a mask - Hearts and Stripes - a pack of two which you place over your project and gently sponge. I then added some sequins, also available from Stampin' Up!
Isn't it gorgeous? I also did a "masculine" version, which still might be a little bit too sparkly (!) for boys; I'll add that tomorrow.
Have a crafty day!

Dictionary Stamp
Good evening all!
Well another week has passed in the Hippy Household. It goes by so quickly. I'm wondering what I've achieved this weekend; and I'm realising it's fair to say not a lot, I really must start using my time at the weekends more sensibly, especially now the evenings are drawing in and getting darker.
However today I did make this card which is reminiscent of summer with its lovely butterfly!
I've used the Dictionary stamp for the background, and the Papillon Potpourri stamp set with matching punch.
I've listed all the items you need for this card below; by changing the designer series paper you can make lots of beautiful variations of this card.

Well worded
Good morning all,
Here are some creations I've made with the Well Worded stamp set and matching moustache die; I am having a table at Little Hippy's Christmas School Fair to raise funds for the PTA, and so I have been busy making preparations.
I always find it that little bit harder to make cards for men, and so this stamp set is absolutely brilliant - and anyone that knows me knows I have a bit of a moustache obsession (on things, not on men!).
I have made them in two shades of blue and black. I used the Woodgrain embossing folder and Big Shot (both from Stampin' Up!) to emboss the background.
All these supplies are available to view or buy in the Official Stampin' Up! Webshop - just click the browse or buy button at the top of the page or click the images below.
Back soon, stay crafty!
Lauren
