Today I thought we'd have a fabric project rather than a paper-craft post. Here is a Kanzashi flower brooch I made using Stampin' Up! fabric and one of their Antique Brads - isn't it charming??
This is the More Amore fabric - it costs £8.95 for three co-ordinating pieces measuring 45.7 x 68.6 cm - slightly bigger (overall) than a fat quarter. If you're in the habit of buying fabric you'll know that this is great value; especially for designer material.
After making the flower I used my glue gun to fix the Antique Brad (£5.50 for 20) in the middle and to secure a brooch back on the rear. You could also make this into a hair slide with the appropriate finding.
If you'd like to order any of the Stampin' Up! supplies you see on my website then don't hesitate to get in touch; as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I'd be happy to help! firstname.lastname@example.org
