Upgrading simple cards

Morning everyone!

Today I thought I'd show you how you can "pimp" up a simple card to make it even better!! You can do this with extra stamping or with ribbon and accessories like buttons and brads.

As you can see I've done it here with extra stamping (in some extra colours) and with a sentiment that stands out on little sticky foam pads (Stampin' Dimensionals):

It has turned a simple card into a more-involved card, both are just as nice as each other but the first one better as a notecard and the second one is perhaps helpful when you want to say something in particular - like "thanks" or "happy birthday".

I really like layering the stamps on top of each other, when I first tried this I thought it would look messy but as you can see it works really well.

Stamp sets used: En Francais, French Foliage, Nature Walk, Kindness Matters
Inks: Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Night of Navy, Always Artichoke
Punches: Extra Large Oval
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White
