Swaps

One of the many benefits to being a Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! is the social side of things; invariably you end up getting to know other Demonstrators in your upline and downline (those who recruited before and after you), which often leads to get-togethers - and cake!

We all met up last week; I had only met one or two other Demos before, so it was good to get to know some of the others; and we ran through ideas for projects.

We all made some swaps - "swaps" are card fronts that you have designed and you make as many as there will be people. In return you receive the same amount back in different designs; meaning you have oodles of new ideas and inspiration!

This is what I made:

Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree

I call this my "Magical Tree" card ....!!! You can't tell from the picture but the tree actually sparkles, I acheived this by using the 2-way Glue Pen and some Dazzling Diamonds.

Cardstock: Pool Party, Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Ink: Early Espresso
Other accessories: Dazzling Diamonds, 2-way Glue Pen, Corner Punch, Circle Punch (1/2"), Word Window Punch, Scissors

Thank you to Cate for organising such a wonderful evening, and also to Fiona for hosting in her lovely home and making us all feel very welcome.
