I have used the delicate green flowery paper on both the cards I'm about to show you, the pattern is very delicate but it packs a punch due to the colours that have been used.
The first card I made was a "Friends" sentiment card:
I used the Top Note on the Big Shot to punch the lovely Wild Wasabi-coloured "Beyond the Garden" DSP - I love the scrolly effect and how that counterbalances the Four Frames scroll that I inked in Pacific Point to frame the sentiment "Friends". I added a bit more blue "Beyond the Garden" paper behind and added in a hanging bow-like strip of Very Vanilla cardstock to balance it all out.
I wasn't sure about it at first, but with a new pair of eyes a couple of hours later, it looks really good.
Ok, the third and last card I made today with a Garden theme is a "Happy Anniversary" card, again, using the Big Shot. I used an Embossilit called "Beautiful Wings" available through Stampin' Up! to cut out some lovely butterflies in the same Wild Wasabi "Beyond the Garden" paper.
I punched out some circles in Wisteria Wonder, and gave the butterflies rhinestone bodies. Underneath I stamped "Happy Anniversary". All mounted on to Very Vanilla cardstock, set on some Crumb Cake cardstock. Really quick and really easy!!
